This is a classic that has been around for around 70 years.  It can be had for just over $100 bucks and there are other versions as well.

Look up the snake method and other accessories to allow for smoking. it won't retain the heat like some other models.  But if this is your first grill or smoker you can't go wrong for the price.

This can run on the classic Kingsford or Lump charcoal.  Add some wood chunks and you are good to go to begin your journey into smoking.
